Your GP surgery is in one of the following Boroughs.

Derby, Chaddesden, Ilkeston, Sinfin, Dronfield and New Mills High Peak.

You are aged 55 or over.
.png)
You have NOT experienced sudden hearing loss or deterioration within the last 90 days – if so, contact your local Accident & Emergency department.

Your hearing does NOT fluctuate and/or is NOT significantly worse in one ear - we can check this if you are uncertain.

You have NOT experienced pain or discharge in your ears for more than 7 days in the last 90 days.
.png)
You do NOT have tinnitus that is trouble-some, one-sided or pulsating.
.png)
You do NOT have vertigo, including spinning, dizziness, swaying or the sensation of floating.
.png)
You do NOT have blocked hearing from earwax or a foreign body in your ear.
.png)
You do NOT require ear, nose and throat (ENT) medical advice and are NOT undergoing current ENT investigations for any symptoms.
If any of the above symptoms or conditions apply, please contact your GP.

New Patients Seeking an NHS-funded Audiology Service
For new patients (over 55) interested in NHS funded hearing aids, you no longer need a GP referral. Simply book your appointment using our new Online Booking System.

Check Your Eligibility for an Upgrade to Newer NHS Hearing Aid Technology
If your current NHS hearing aids were fitted more than three years ago, you may be eligible for an NHS-funded hearing reassessment. You can continue to receive support for your existing hearing aids through our service. In some cases, you may also qualify for upgraded hearing aids, which will be assessed during your appointment.
